BusinessLeader.ai /  The Leads  /  ITLead.ai

Meet Matthew Roth, our IT director AI.

"I look after the technology."

ITLead is responsible for your IT function's rhythm, its record, and its report, and you rule on what it asks. When the systems are held together by one person's memory, everyone finds out what was missing during the outage. ITLead keeps the whole technology picture on the record: what you run, what it costs, how it all connects, where the shortcuts are quietly piling up, and when the backups were last proven to restore. It sets the roadmap from where the estate is to where it should be, and you ratify the priorities and the money behind them.

ITLead.ai is live.

What ITLead does.

Your IT function run on one calendar and written down on one record, so no system lives only in one person's head.

The systems map

Everything you run, what it costs, what talks to what, and which contracts sit underneath, current and written down.

Changes that land

Upgrades and new systems planned with the risks, the test, and the way back named before the work starts - and each shortcut taken under a deadline booked as technical debt, priced, not hidden.

Resilience, tested

Backups, recovery, and security posture checked by trying them, not by assuming them. It works to named industry standards and tells you which ones.

Plain reporting

The technology picture in words the rest of the business can read, including what needs money, what it buys you, and why.

From the systems map to the IT report.

ITLead runs your technology the same way every period, following the BusinessLead IT Operating Standard. Six steps.

01

Map the estate

Every system, its owner, its cost, the systems it talks to, and the contract it runs on, kept on one dated record. A shadow tool or a system nobody owns is named the week it is found.

02

Design the path

Your business capabilities, data, applications, and technology read together, with a roadmap sequenced on value and dependency. You set the priorities and the money behind them.

03

Plan each change

Every upgrade, migration, or new system planned with its risks, its test, and its way back named before the work starts. A shortcut taken under a deadline goes on the debt register the same day.

04

Price the debt

Each shortcut and aging system priced twice: what carrying it costs, and what fixing it would take. The paydown goes to the run risk first.

05

Run and test

Incidents fixed at the root, service levels watched against what the business needs, and backups restored on a schedule, with the last-tested date on the record.

06

Report and decide

Each period closes on a report in plain words: what landed, what slipped, what the debt and the risks say, and what the next investment buys. You rule on what it asks.

It works to a written IT standard.

ITLead works to the BusinessLead IT Operating Standard: ten written chapters, from running the IT function and the systems map through architecture, integration, change, technical debt, run and service, resilience, and the technology record, to the big technology decisions. The standard was checked for completeness against ITIL service management, the TOGAF architecture domains, and the NIST Cybersecurity Framework 2.0, and it names each one wherever it borrows from it, so you always know which bar your technology is measured against.

Three boundaries never move. It plans the technical change and names what it needs, and the delivery goes to PMOLead and the adoption to ChangeLead. It never declares your business secure: the security posture is stated as a managed risk, with its gaps named and priced. And it frames every big choice on total cost and capability, with no favored vendor; you make the decision, ProcurementLead runs the deal, and your advisors answer the legal questions.

Standard
The BusinessLead IT Operating Standard, IOS-1 through IOS-10.
Grounding
Two registers in your workspace: your systems, with their costs, connections, contracts, and last-tested dates, and your technical debt, each item priced.
Decisions
It frames the change, the paydown, and the technology case. A person decides the recovery bar, the risk appetite, and every big technology choice.
Oversight
It reports to you in the IT report each period, and every material technology risk goes on RiskLead's register for you to rule on. AuditLead tests the work independently.
Works with
FinanceLead on the IT cost and the business case, ProcurementLead on vendors and contracts, RiskLead on the risk register, PMOLead and ChangeLead on delivery and adoption, and OperationsLead where a business process meets a system.

Formed the way professions form their people

No Lead works here just because a prompt says so. Each one is educated in its Playbook, examined by AuditLead, our independent AI auditor, and registered with a human signature behind it. ITLead serves on the functions bench: the seats that run the business day to day.

Soul

The model

The intelligence it runs on. Every change of model is examined before it ever speaks to a client.

Heart

The values

Bound by Our Values, with a floor nobody configures away: Human Safety First. The same conduct floor our human practitioners sign.

Mind

How it thinks

ITLead reasons as The Servant Leader - the Greenleaf tradition. Teams that get stronger the longer it stays.

Brain

The machinery

Role and judgment, voice, memory of your work, tools, and safeguards that fire before a word reaches you - every region inspectable.

Who it is for.

Owners and CEOs without an IT director

Your systems live in one person's memory and the IT spend arrives as bills. ITLead puts the whole estate on one record and gives you a report you can read without a translator.

Boards and finance leaders

Technology cost that matches the accounts, technology risks on the same register as every other risk, and each big technology case priced on total cost over its life, then checked after it beds in.

Heads of IT and the engineers who run the estate

A calendar that shows who does what and when, debt you can name without being blamed for it, and runbooks written down so no system depends on one person being reachable.
